Talk about an explosive music Monday. Just when you thought it was all about Iggy’s “Murda Bizness” or Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend,” DJ Khaled proved he the best by bringing his winner’s circle to this bound-to-be summer anthem “Take It To The Head.” The Runners-produced joint includes Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. The 2011 American Music Awards ceremony emanates from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 20, with performances from Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5 and Pitbull. Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.Am is also set to take the stage with Jennifer Lopez to debut his solo single “T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever),” which also features legendary rocker Mick Jagger.
British soul singer Adele leads this year with four nominations with Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and The Band Perry following close behind with three nods each.
Arrivals on the red carpet will stream online live at 5pm with the pre-show at 7pm. The madness officially begins at 8.
