Listen: Wiz Khalifa “Taylor Allderdice” Mixtape

The Taylor gang was in for a Tuesday treat with the anticipated release of Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Allderdice mixtape. When the “Black and Yellow” rapper tweeted the link around 9 p.m., fans had a hard time downloading the tape, which crashed mixtape haven DatPiff.

Timelines have been flooded with nothing but praise for Taylor, which features contributions from Cam’Ron, Rick Ross, Juicy J and his wife-to-be Amber Rose. Since his 2011 freebie Cabin Fever, Wiz has returned to the mellow flow of his earlier work circa Kush and Orange Juice, shedding the mainstream mold that his debut Rolling Papers shaped him into. The tree-loving gang leader is prepping his second studio album.

Iggy Azalea Speaks Up Against Azealia Banks, T.I. Stands By Her

Image

Since Harlem femcee Azealia Banks fired Twitter shots at Aussie rapstress Iggy Azalea, the social media beefing continues to dominate timelines.

In a recent interview on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, T.I., Iggy and the Grand Hustle gang stopped by and addressed the situation.

“This is my day and my achievement,” the Ignorant artist said. “You have to work to have your own achievements with all due respect. Instead of worrying about who else is on there, you should just be happy that I’m on there as a woman.”

Tip wasted no time in defending the first lady of his Hustle crew.

“Strategically if she really cares about a freshmen cover maybe she could hope that she’ll suck enough to get shelved and then next year when the freshmen cover comes back around, maybe she’ll still be a freshman. If you spend half of your day getting money and the other half of your day counting money, you ain’t got no time in your day to worry about nobody else.”

Banks soon went on a Twitter tirade against the ATL native: “Come on T.I…. N*ggas is not scared of u and whatever shit u got to say on some radio show. @tip you corny for that one.”

“Everybody got something slick to say, but no one got an explanation,” she added.

In a genre where talented female rap hopefuls are hard to come by, shouldn’t they dead the tweef and support one another or can only one be on their A-game? Let me know!

Rush Limbaugh Defends Lord’s Resistance Army

Rush Limbaugh’s ignorance is no Fluke. In another display of unfiltered dialogue, the controversial radio host defends the Lord’s Resistance Army from an anti-Obama, “religious” perspective.

“Lord’s Resistance Army are Christians.  It means God.  I was only kidding.  Lord’s Resistance Army are Christians. They are fighting the Muslims in Sudan.

And Obama has sent troops, United States troops to remove them from the battlefield, which means kill them.

That’s what the lingo means, “to help regional forces remove from the battlefield,” meaning capture or kill.

So that’s a new war, a hundred troops to wipe out Christians in Sudan, Uganda, and — (interruption) no, I’m not kidding.  Jacob Tapper just reported it.

Now, are we gonna help the Egyptians wipe out the Christians? Wouldn’t you say that we are? I mean the Coptic Christians are being wiped out, but it wasn’t just Obama that supported that.

The conservative intelligentsia thought it was an outbreak of democracy. Now they’ve done a 180 on that, but they forgot that they supported it in the first place. Now they’re criticizing it.”

And to think, he’s a conservative.
